PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya AFS Naliya was established in 1979 at Air Force Station Naliya, Kachchh, Gujarat, under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. The Vidyalaya was founded primarily to cater to the educational needs of the children of Defence personnel and other transferable Central Government employees, while also serving the local community in accordance with KVS admission guidelines.

Located in a strategically significant border region of the country, the Vidyalaya has consistently upheld the KVS motto of providing quality education and fostering national integration. Spread over a 10-acre campus, the school has evolved into a vibrant centre of learning that promotes academic excellence, holistic development, innovation, environmental awareness, and value-based education. As a PM SHRI school, the Vidyalaya is committed to nurturing future-ready learners who are rooted in Indian culture and equipped to contribute meaningfully to society and nation-building.
